bigger is better

would like to know the largest rim sizes put on a first gen with lowering kit.
I plan on changing from stock rims and want to know if anyone has gone bigger than a 15X6.5

largest that I would say without going overkill would definitly be 17's...they fill the space quite nicely and with a one inch lower it would look sweet...although I also think that 17's look best on a rex with some type of body kit

thanks for the input. I think I'm going with a set of 17x7's from my sister if they
fit. haven't gotten with her yet to check rims. she had them on a civic and I'm sure the lug pattern is the same not sure of the depth though.

They do look good on her car so I know that they'll look damn good on my RX.

I assume your driving a gsl-se then, because I'm pretty sure that civics aren't 4x110. Good luck.

Agreed...staggered wheel sizes help, too, since we have rear wheel drive cars.

WRONG.......................

CIVIC's are 4x100, 4 lug accords are 4x114.3, the same as the GSL-SE

Not necessarily, there is a point where it's detrimental to performance. 15" is about perfect as far as performance goes.
