i never saw you drive or under the hood. You could of said it was a 3 rotor and i'd of believed you haha. I'm posting a video to youtube, but i'm leery of posting it here because I did cross the lines a couple times, but only when I could CLEARLY see there was no oncoming traffic, it's just hard to tell the visibility because of the camera positioning.

It seems with 13's you either buy all seasons or track tires, there isn't much if any in between. I think a 15x8" wheel +0 offset should fit with a set of flares, but again I've not yet looked into it. I'm going to have a shop drill my axles to 4x114 and i'll use press in studs (hate lug bolts).
don't get me wrong, the legends tires would be FUN, they just aren't fast...

and 15x8 with a 20 offset will fit under the stock fenders, i think you could do a 245 tire all the way around too, certainly in the rear

At the risk of me getting flamed for: crossing the lines, exceeding the speed limit, breaking laws etc etc... As I said, Yes I did cross the lines. It is hard to tell with camera position, but I could clearly see no one was on coming. I like to think that despite exceeding the speed limit, I wasn't a risk to other drivers on the road anymore than anyone else that was there doing the same thing. here it is:
Tires and suspension are my limiting factors.

cshaw07,

Tires and suspension are my limiting factors.
Watching these videos has made me stop and think, in one way of looking at it you are limited by the suspension and the brakes, but look at it a different way, if you get better tires, brakes, and suspension then all you have really accomplished is created a situation where to get the same level of fun you have to go a lot faster, creating more of a hazard for you and everyone else, its all relative after all. It seems to me that you probably had as much fun as some much faster cars, but with less risk, and with alot more bang for the buck. This may be a silly way to look at it, idk.....just a thought...

Not silly at all, Robert. 20 years ago I wanted to go fast. Now I think my all seasons and stock springs, well driven, will keep me up with just about anyone with similar power/weight ratio, and many who have more ponies. If they happen to pull ahead, so be it. I'm an OGTA, after all.
Edit: Sports car, track car, race car. I think I'm at a point where sports car is all I really want. But I do have parts in the shed to take it further. If my oldest is around much this summer, it could happen.

I like building my cars slowly, upgrading and upgrading as it needs it. I had an absolute BLAST at DGRR, but every year I want to go there with a better car (i'm going to start doing track days as well). The next spout of work to the car is paint and body work, I'm sick of having a car that in my opinion isn't worth washing lol then wheels/tires/fender flares and a suitable suspension.
