Best mods to go with streetport

What else should i do with my stage 2 streetport. I hear theres not much gain using just a streetport engine. I was told new muffler, mines sitll stock, and a cone style K&N, but anyhtign else that i should do to maximise streetport perfoamnce

This is my opinion: Use early RX-7 12-A plates to convert that GSL-SE motor to a 4port. pin the rotors so you can rev it past 9000 RPM, 3 window bearings, high pressure OP regulator and port it as big as you can go. And use 48 IDA. I dont know what your driving habit is but since I drag often, I prefer a heavier flywheel and puck clutch/heavy pressure plate. Thats my $0.02.

Mazdatrix has a good writeup on street porting 6 ports or actually why not to port a 6 port-you should read it unless youve already. http://www.mazdatrix.com/faq/port6p.htm
It changed my mind about it, I'll look for a 4 port or go with a more readily available 12a (looks like a far better gain)

Well im buying a remanufactured streetport, and for the core i gotta use the same motor as i buy. Im not looking for the fastest car every or anything. Im sure a 6 port will give me enough power. Im just wondering what other, non major mods should accompany it
