Best Ignition System???

was just going over msd's page and instead of getting new blaster 2 coils i think i'll just jump to the Blaster SS Coil, PN 8207
here is what msd says about them
"The MSD line of Blaster Coils is known for great performance from the street to the circle tracks. Following in that performance line, the new Blaster SS Coil is ready to leave its mark.
The Blaster SS is an E-core style coil, which is a very efficient design when it comes to producing high voltage and spark energy. The windings produce 300mA and can handle up to 48,000 volts when used with an MSD 6 Series Ignition Control. The windings are held secure in a Dupont® Rynite™ injection molded shell and are then encased in an epoxy compound for protection against vibration and water. The primary terminals are located at opposite ends of the tall spark tower so there is no chance of arcing especially with the high dielectric characteristics of the Rynite housing.
The Coil is compact enough to fit in tight areas and is supplied with vibrations mounts."

notice it says UP TO 48000 volts
Secondary voltage (tower side) only goes as high as needed. getting a better coil will not increase firing voltage. It will increase available voltage. the bigger the gap the more required voltage. all the bigger coil does is allow you to gap your plugs farther.

ok just read a huge article on direct fire,
will be converting very soon.
gonna run dual msd blaster ss on the leading
and a blaster 2 on the trailing.
btw paul yaw is the man,
is there anyone else you can think of in the world that has contributed as much as paul yaw to enhancing the performance and drivability of the rotary engine???
except the people that designed it of course.
here is a quote from his page
"While testing MSD, Crane, my prototype, and several stock systems, I realized that I needed to gain a better understanding of what the engine wanted, not what is easy to design. For instance, how much voltage is really required to initiate a spark? What is more important, spark current or duration? Are these requirements different for an engine puttering around town, and one that is making gobs of power on the race track? Until I can answer all of these questions, my ignition system will not be available. When it is available, it will be the best rotary ignition system on the market."
you hear that best on the market,
and i got $100.00 bucks saying it will be very fair priced,
paul doesnt try to rape you on pricing,he is very fair.
i hope after a couple years i will be able to contribute to the re would as much as him.
lets have a yaw power day

well camden is sorta a god too,but $3,000 well?
look at all the things he has made for the 7,
and the fact that he WONT sell you a product until it has been fully tested with dyno results.
who else does this besides larger corpos working for the $$$$?
i already want his header setup for the 12a
and his custom spark plugs when their finished
if you go to his site you will see that he has tested several spark plugs and will dyno them to see what are best, then custom cut and bend them to sell to the public,
any names yet?

ya know after a short amount of plotting i take it back,
he is really more of hero in the 12a world.
maybe thats why i like him so much,
i love the 12a,and just about everything is for the 13b
i wish the never put a 13b in the first gen so everytime i heard 1st gen it could be automatically associated with 12a.
because of the 13b alot of companys said screw the 12a and went right for the 13b,
the 12a has alot of potential, but was overlooked because of the 13b.
camden knows this,or the company that they used to be.
thats why they only make a huge 7" blower for the 12a and not a 5"
i dunno, maybe it only makes sense to me,+ im tired

well i was mainly stressing enhancing the performance,
and racing beat is out for the $$$ it shows in their prices,
half the time we have no choice but to go with them,
paul yaw rants on this subject for a moment when discussing his new 12a header.
its dyno shows a power increase over their road race setup which is their top of the line for a 12a,
now how do you think the prices will compair?
by rights paul yaw can charge more,
why because his system is better.
but will he.
i dont think so.
really when i say who can you think of im mainly tring to focus on people here, not large corpos

his setup for a direct fire ignition is posted on 5 other peoples sites with their own custom pictures and info on how good it works.
i searched a subject in google and that is what i came up with,
i didnt search his name

If I made a website saying how my prototype stuff was so much better than the established stuff, and I posted up a dyno run or two would you come on here and call me the hero of rotaries?
I'm not trying to start a fight man, I just don't agree with you.

hero of rotaries is taking things out of context,if you choose to quote me then do so,
dont just start letting words fly off your keyboard.
"come on the man is a hero in the 1st gen world "
i then later say
"ya know after a short amount of plotting i take it back,

dont put words in my mouth i dont apreciate it,
i was mearly tryin to give the man due respect where well deserved.

Look buddy, I'm not against Paul Yaw, but you aren't seeing the big picture here. No offense, but it's pretty clear you know very little of what you're talking about.
I'm not arguing about this anymore, it's not going anywhere.

Stop fighting guys (or I am telling mom!)
Let's just all get along?
Agree to disagree.
