Best 1DIN Stereo adapter kit

Who makes the best stereo adapter kit for the 84-85? Metra 99-7501, American International MRB-854 & FP-1000, or the Scosche MA1530 (B)? Any ideas?

DO NOT USE SCOSCHE. I tried theres and its a piece of junk. At least the one that the guy at future shop gave me. It was a universal Mazda piece, didn't fit properly, couldn't get the top to bolt up, nothing but problems. I wound up getting one made form stainless. Not very happy with that one either but it works alot better then the plastic POS.

Are you going to tell us how you made it or, in the alternative, are you willing to make and sell them? I'm sure there would be a market.

I wish Manntis still made/sold his.

All aluminum, cup holders or gauge pods...

Anything else fails.

Metra: I used a universal one. It was plastic that I had to break the tabs for the B-Series truck and MPV van off of. It eventually broke apart. Scosche looks similar.

Crutchfield metal one: Uses the bendy tab style DIN sleeve rather than the bolts on the side of the radio like a stereo SHOULD be mounted.

Totally agree. I have wanted one those forever. I should have bought one when he was selling them. By the time I went to order one, he was out of stock and was going to improve the design. After that he was no longer selling them. Too bad.
