Bazooka Bass tube

I have put in new speakers and cd player and a friend is selling his 200 watt 8 inch bass tube for fifty bucks. I dont want to bump all over the place but i figured it would add a little more to the system. The only problem is i want it to be concealed. I dont want the big goofy tube sticking out and i am keeping the interior for the most part stock and clean. It seems like there would be enough room behind one of the seats if you gut out the little compartment. I dont really want to ruin my lid cause when i sell the car i want to keep it nice and stock with no mods so it will sell for a little more. I figured i could buy one on ebay or somewhere but if i cant i will just have to suck it up. Sorry this is so long on a simple question. I was wandering if anyone tried to fit these things in their rex before, and i was also wandering if you guys thought it would get too hot in their. Thanks God Bless

I used to have a 10" Bazooka bass tube... took it back to the stereo shop and exhanged it for a 6" tube.
Its tucked nicely away and out of sight by the drivers side taillight behind the carpeting, and being fully corner-loaded, it packs a punchier sounding bass than the 10" did.

Go ahead and remove one of the storage bins and see if it fits then try out how it sounds.

Those bass tubes really suck! If iI were you I'd just puy it as fa to the rear as you can! There's no reason to mess your car up over that! plus Fifty dollars is to much !
