A sealed or gel cell . www.gomiata.com has a sealed battery that is about 1/2 the size of a regualr batter, and still will bolt in the same place. Optima or Orbit the famous "RED/Yellow Tops" for automotive.

Seems to me ANY group 24 battery oughta work with the low compression low rotating mass rotary engine. If you have problems bogging down in cold climates it's because of the old aluminum cables, which you should replace with arc welders copper cable. Just compare the performance of al and cu boosters in 0 degree weather. And then welders thousand strand cable is even better.

Save your battery money and get arc welders cable. You can get the best, the biggest, the baddest battery in the world and it won't affect the resistance of the cables.

This one...?

It's only 475CCA...

I wouldn't go any lower than 800CCA myself...
