It was obviously an exaggeration but a good example nevertheless. I don't know about exact gas mileage. Most people running those engines aren't keeping track of mileage. It's still going to be so loud the your neighbors (in the next state!) are going to complain. Not really being too sarcastic there. If you try to muffle it very much the exhaust restriction will cause you to lose most of the power. With a full muffler you may have less power than a stock port motor. Anyone that flames me for that one has never had one. If you still want to drive on the street sometimes but want a bridgeport, use a half bridge and a small one at that. You'll find that if the car isn't ONLY a track car, it is going to be a severe pain in the *** to drive. It would be cool though If 10 mpg isn't so bad why not get a jet engine in the back! Not much louder and hella cool!

Anyone needing ported housings, I have a streetport front and rear housing from a pre-86 4 port engine. I also have 2 streetported intermediate housings. One is a GSL-SE and the other is a large runner version with huge ports. They are the same size as the outers. I can bridge them too. I just have no need for them and would rather them go to a good home than sit around rusting.

Well I found out that I also need an e-shaft and a flywheel. Apparently his broke and he never got a replacement, Know where I can get those for cheap? Maybe this is turning out to be a big hassle, but dang, it would be soooooo cool if it was back together...

I have 2 e-shafts. One is pre-86 and does not have the thermo pellet and the other one is from '88. I have the flywheel but it is currently on my GSL-SE. I may replace it in the near future in which case its yours.
