Question ? for anyone w/ a Bonez high flow cat on an SE.

After running for say... 10 min (even just idling w/ a few HIGH revs, or a daily run) if it's dark outside, look under your car. Is the Bonez cat (internal cat not the heat shield) orange (from the heat) at the back and front?! Not the leading or trailing pipe.. just the cat itself.

I want to see if this is just common of these cats or if theres somthing seriosly wrong w/ mine. I checked my ACV tonight by pulling the hose off the motor and it's not leaking backwords from the cat so thats ok. I also found that the dust cover was bouncing around a little in the dizzy... (THATS what that darned sound was geez!)

I'm going to boil my thermostat tommorow morning to make sure it's ok...

I also tryed the wd-40 on the vacuum lines and there dosn't seem to be any leaks.

TIA... Chris..

hm, I'll check this morning when I get home and let you know. I'd bet the sucker gets warm under there (I can feel the heat on my leg when I get out of the car after a...spirited drive, but I've never looked.)
