Anyone Selling An Aftermarket Carb Steup?
Well, as the title says...Is anyone selling a carb setup? Im talking manifold carbs, filters, eveything. Holley, Weber, Dell'orto, just about anything. My friend just got a loan from the bank today, and hes buying a whole bunch of **** for his car with the money. Well, I have to install it, so he said for payment, hes gonna buy me something I want for my car . So anyone selling a carb setup, or even an MSD box with coils, let me know? I already checked the for sale section, and I poked around ebay and the parts trader, but if you guys could help me find one, Id appreciate it . I need something for a 4 port 12A stock port. Thanks.

I have huh? Who is the theif Robert? YOU! I may not be a mechanic, but after looking at your work, you are not one either. If you read his other posts you too will know that others have had problems with him.. Oh yeah... don't forget you were asked to leave mazspeed.com, not by me, but by the others on the board there.. It's a first gen website, and you used to post there till I took you off with much request from the others. All you did was try and drum up business the wrong way.. You should have asked, and no I don't have a first gen anymore, but I still keep the site up for the viewers PERIOD.. Would you like to know why I sold the car? Well smartguy, I bought a house and some jetskis, and got engaged and didn't have the time for a car that I could not drive on the road legally. Is that ok with you Robert? What's your excuse for doing poor work? hmmmmmmmmmm????

Yeah, go argue somewhere else. Anyway, if anyone out there has a used carb setup that they will sell, please let me know. Also, I am looking for an MSD 6A(or L) WITH coils reasonably priced. Thanks guys.

I found my Dellorto (in nice shape, jetted the way I wanted, with all the right parts) by posting a "wanted" ad on www.mazspeed.com (thanks for the fantastic website Mike!).
I also got several other replies, including a Dellorto I didn't buy, a used Yaw, etc. This was in the span of a week or two. IMHO, I'd recommend posting a want ad over there, and not jumping on the first thing if it isn't what you want. Don't buy something that is far away from the specs you want (jets and other parts cost money, and the 13B Dell emulsion tubes may not be the same as the 12A - I would not buy a 13B Dell for a 12A, if I had a choice, personally, that's just my opinion).
So yeah, there's a fair amount of stuff out there; shop around and hold out till what you want comes along. Good things come to those who wait, that'd be my recommendation
And also, I think used is the only way to go if you're on a budget, you get the same performance (once you rebuild and clean) for less than half the price. I paid $300 for my whole setup.
