Anyone need a steering wheel? Only $927.00!

I was at the local mazda dealership today ordering
a couple of parts. Just for fun, I checked the price to replace my deteriorating brown steering wheel.
$927.00!! Couldn't freaking believe it
Since I've already started this thread, if anyone happens to have a good one, I'm lookin'.
Thanks

Ya know this topic begs the question... How much would it cost to restore a Rx-7 if you bought all the parts you could possibly buy new from a dealer? We're talking $30,000+. I could be conservative I bet considering a new steering wheel alone is 927bucks*&^#!! That means a new engine is at least $11000 going by the steering wheel cost.

Well, my steering wheel's leather was coming off too, but I just tore the rest of it off and it's like a new steering wheel. Well, without the leather.
Looks good, though.

You think that's bad? Your run-o-the mill Nikki 4bbl carburator from MAZDASPEED, which is dealer cost to me because I'm in the motorsports program, costs...

DRUMROLL....

$918.00 US

That's cost folks, not retail.

Welll...

It's not spectacular as a steering wheel, but I like it better than the stock offering from Mazda. It came with the car when I bought it.

I plan to get a MOMO or something, with softer grips.

The hard wooden slippery wheel, is HORRIBLE in the 0 degree temperature in Minnesota.

Is the whole steering wheel from a 70's Mazda? Or just the center cap? If you can't read it, it says "INDY" on the wheel.
