Anyone know how wires are supposed to go?

I already made a post about this replying to an old thread, but I will make a new thread with a more apropriate name to see if anyone can help. I found a few disconected wires by my starter, and some frayed and suspicous wiring by my side marker which I am missing. Also im trying to look into re wiring in a radio for it, since I took out an aftermarket CD changer which was broken. Ive tried wiring diagrams but i cant seem to find what some of these connectors go to. Anyone got pictures of them on correct, or know where they go?

Speaker Wire

Dangling wires by starter

Everything by the radio

Connected side marker?

Closer picture of radio wiring

Closer picture of radio wiring

Missing side marker inside fender

Lack of side marker connector and frayed/split wires

One connector missing something to go to

Have you gotten the wiring diagram and traced them based on location and color? Foxed.ca

Ive made an attempt, but I never really found where they go till about 20 minutes ago. they must have fallen when I was doing my spedometer cable because I dont remember them before that. I traced them back to here, will be tracing through the wiring diagrams soon. Either way any input would be great. I found that one side was really my side marker light connected to an unknown connector, and the radio im still tracing speaker wire. Will update once I look further.

Repaired side marker harness

Zoomed out photo of where the dangling wires originate

Dangling wire connectors, red one is the 3 wires, while blue is the ground wire looking one that is still by the starter

Raining here again, but when it stops I'll see if I have the same blue wire. Couldnt see it by the starter yesterday, but now we know it begins in the engine bay I will take a look there.

I believe I've found the other wires by the starters location, something to so with cruise control on the transmission. I'll check there and if I'm missing mine then mystery solved! The transmission has had many wires unplugged and missing so I would not be surprised if this is another.

That would make sense. I don’t appear to have that wire and I don’t have cruise.

The transmission has a 5th gear switch (*if so equipped) and reverse switch that has 4 wires going to it. These are terminated with bullet connectors with rubber insulators around them. This switch is located nearer the back of the Transmission on the drivers side.

Your radio wiring will be best served by a dedicated radio installer, as it looks like someone has just cut speaker wires and connectors *****-nilly. Be aware that not all connectors are connected to something. Higher optioned cars may have had power steering, auto trans lights, etc. That will have plugs on the harness but will not be connected on lower optioned cars.
