anyone here with 16" wheels??
#27
WOW, I love the look of the 16's and 17's posted up in this thread. I would LOVE to run 16's, but can't find out what offset to run! Please guys - list the specs on your rims - offset would help a TON!
According to tirerack tech guy Clancy (ext 623) the Kosei K1's in a 15" x 7" for my GSL (110mm pattern) fit with a 17mm offset...
If I have to find a 16" x 7" with a 17mm offset, I'll be screwed! LOL. Not a "typical rice wheel" (i.e. - not cheap). So I may end up sticking with the 110mm pattern and correspondingly cheap non-SE brake parts...but then I'm limited to K1's or Panasports for the most part. :/

rx7gslse - thank you for the info! That is VERY interesting...did you have to run any spacers or anything? I would like to run 225/50/16 drag radials on the back (not afraid to cut, hammer, etc. for fitment as long as it's not TOO bad). If I could get 16"x7" 40mm offset, I could share rims with my gf's 92 240SX - and I'm particularly eyeing the Rota Slipstreams...hmm....
Thanks again for the info, your car looks great!

Of course, I do realize that means a swap to SE brake parts, which I can conviently buy off my brother's parts car, cheap. I'm just trying to decide if it's worth it... (if the money I save in cheaper rims would offset the higher cost of replacement brake parts down the road)
