IN anyone hear of champion rebuilt carbs?

did a quick googke didnt see much. I see theres a rebuilt 83 nikki carb available as back stock. Im sick of screwing with this one but is a rebuilt carb worth $300? any other suggestions? This is for my gold nightmare. LOL

Never heard of them...but for a few bucks more you could ship off your carb to CobraStngSVT for a very "sterling" treatment...there were some initial problems, but all seems to be fine now, plus you would be supporting a fellow forum member in the process...

Thats all great! Love to support someone but I don't need anything modified for performance or etc. I just want one that runs fine... Im perfectly open to buying something straight up... And soon... I'll do aftermarket too Holley etc/ I just want it to run, so I can move onto my next project.

Actually drove it around the yard today... It drives as long as you hold the gas at not allow it to idle... Hell it even burnt the tires LOL

Which "IT" did you order? A champion or SVT one? Just curious because I'd get the upgrade even if you don't want to increase performance. It's way more adjustable and you might even get better mileage and drivability with the modded carb.
