Anyone have the VB mud flap/splash guards on their FB?

Yea, I agree it does take a bit away from the looks, but I'll be driving the car year round, and in New Jersey that covers a pretty wide array of weather. I don't have them on my other car, which also sees winter, but seems like it might be a good idea. Just getting ideas...

I've had mine on for over 25 years and think they look ok. They aren't VB, but I think if they are small enough they can still provide some protection from stone chips, yet bet hardly noticable.

Just my $0.02.

I think they are helpful in protecting the paint. The rear quarter of my FB really takes a beating through the muddy driveway. I have been considering buying a set of 4 after I touch up the paint.
If they are moulded to fit they look ok. There are likely many out there and some will undoubtedly look bad, and some good.
Hope to hear some feed back from VB buyers as I like the ease of buying through VB.

Why not pave the driveway.

Yeah, you put on a body kit to protect the paint, then mud flaps to protect the kit, then repaint the car to protect it. A vicious cycle that never ends.
Hell, for the wide body, I need running boards, either that or truck sized mud flaps that drag on the ground.
Honestly though, I don't mind mud flaps. If I had to rally through mud in my driveway, I would concider them.

I plan to rally my car, and it has shitty muflaps to protect rear quater panels, and boddy of car from salt snow, and stones. It looks ok, but I need bigger mudlfaps. Something that belongs on a large truck would be good for the rear.

I have to put some on mine too. I live on a gravel road, and even in 1st gear my front and rear quarters are chipped to hell.
I bought 4 from Vic Brit, but haven't put them on yet. They are HUGE because of the way they mold to the car. I'd really like to see a pic of somebody who has put these ones on the car before I start drilling when it comes out from winter storage.
