Another Rat's Nets Removal. Questions.

Hate to start a new thread, but the more I search, the more and more confusing this seems to get.

I've been following the RX7Carl tutorial for the most part.

I'd like to plug anything I can. I've removed the AC and the Cruise Control on the car, so any hoses going to that, I don't need.

I've got the distributor hoses connect.

I've got the purge valve connected to the 3rd and 4th holes in the carb spacer, but I'm confused as to where the 5\16th hose goes. I've seen it connect to the oil filler pipe, the carb, a T-fitting going to the oil fil and the carb, and possible to the charcoal canister.

I had to replace the carb, and have a super long hose going from between the 2 oil lines going in under the fuel lines, but I have no idea where it goes anymore, or if I need it or it need to be hooked up to something else.

I have 2 hole by the oil filler pipe. one is on the engine, one on the pipe, and I'm not positive where they need to go.

Any help would be great. I'll try to snap some good pictures and post them later tonight to help maybe clear any confusion from my post.

Thanks guys.

Ok, I was out in my garage when I wrote the post.
Here's some pictures that will help some I hope.

First the Oil fill tube. I've read that the purge valve should connect to is some how. I've also seen someone say the charcoal canister should connect to the bottom tube circled in red. Ive seen someone also say to just leave them uncapped which sounds a bit strange to me. what should I do with these.

This has a long vacuum hose on it on my old carb. I don't know where that hose when. I'm thinking the CC because of how long it is. If that's the case, can I just cap it since I don't have CC anymore. If not, what goes to this hole?

I've blocked off the large valve like is said to in the tutorial, and the 5th hole on the spacer because I didn't see any hoses going there (circled in red). If this is wrong, let me know. Also, what should go to this hole on the cab circled in orange. If nothing, I should be able to cap it right?

Finally, here's a picture of the other side of the carb. It's a 79-80 Nikki, and really, I wasn't sure if I could use it on an 85, but I didn't see why I couldn't since I removed so much. The only thing I'm confused about is what's circled in red. There was more to it on the 85 carb, so am I missing something I need, and what goes in the hold on the left of it? Should there be a fuse plugged in here as well?

Hopefully that clears some things up. Thanks for all the help!

Any takers. I don't have a haynes manuel yet and It's making it difficult to find good vacuum diagrams.

not posative on this one but I think it was for the hot start assist so you can either cap it or remove it completely and replace it with a bolt.

I've blocked off the large valve like is said to in the tutorial, and the 5th hole on the spacer because I didn't see any hoses going there (circled in red). If this is wrong, let me know. Also, what should go to this hole on the cab circled in orange. If nothing, I should be able to cap it right?

yes you should be able to just cap anything that isnt being used including the one circled in orange. as for the shutter valve (circled in red) along with capping the un used vac ports you also need to wire it open if im not mistaken. meaning engage the pump and wire it that way.

Finally, here's a picture of the other side of the carb. It's a 79-80 Nikki, and really, I wasn't sure if I could use it on an 85, but I didn't see why I couldn't since I removed so much. as for this you should just be able to remove it im pretty sure you dont need it. as for the 79/80 carb on 85 engine you should be fine so long as the spacer is the same year as the carb.

Hopefully that clears some things up. Thanks for all the help!
Hopefully my responses help you sir
