Another Quick Axle Question!!

Ok...well i need an 83' passenger side axle and i can get my hands on a 83' driver side axle but is it the same thing as the passenger (length,stc.) or do i have to get the passenger side??

They are the same lenght Rusty.

Go to trochiods signature and check out the parts pdf he has for the 83 but for an 80 they are identical left and right, same part number for both. Your probably good to go.

same length, same GSL and non GSL. Anything will do as long as its 83 or older.

but the side dosnt matter......like driver side can be used on the passenger side?

Right both sides are the same, if you do manage to find a GSL axle however the brake backing plates are different from side to side, so you should be aware of that, I assume you'd be putting a new bearing on it though, so you could just change it then.
