Another backfiring thread...
I did a search and didn't find the answer to my question... if I missed it, my apologies...
Here's my question...
Backfiring is the burning of excess fuel in the exhaust (most of the time anyway) and it seems to be the case with mine too. Some of the found backfiring threads mentioned that the rotary engine isn't the most efficient gas burning engine (ya think?) So, my question is, is there anything I can do to make the engine burn that gas off better? Maybe different spark plugs? DirectFire? Cigarette lighter?
Anyway, I'm all for burning ALL fuel possible.... I'd rather burn it in the engine rather than watch all those dollars fly out of my tailpipe! (speaking of tailpipe, look out for another upcoming thread.)
Thanks in advance!
-Jeff

A direct fire conversion, and low octain fuel should help.
A hotter spark and fuel that burns quicker has got to make a differance.
keep your carb well tuned also.
