k well heres just a few pics of the carb setup
the throttle cable looks like it might be messed up but im not sure it could just be me ( and not having much knowledge of them hell if i know lol )
we had to swap the cables i can't remember if the throttle for the SA was shorter or was longer but we had to use the longer one and put a little bracket piece for the ends to connect to just so i'd reach just right
and which of the ends goes into the alternator the blue or the white?
(I'm running the 84 stock alternator with the double pulley off the FC that came with the SA)

things to do before deals gap:
Fix the revving problem
Direct Fire
Minor Rewiring with gauges/e-fan/radio/antenna/whatever else
Make A Strutbar
Finish painting and refinishing interior
Get 3 sets of new wheel lugs (already have 1)
Get cleannnn Tail lights
New steering wheel
buff/polish really good
and most importantly
find a way to get it there and back (trailer will be needed gas is too expensive its too loud and thats too long for a fresh build)

K Great news
Busted my *** lately
Got some Pioneer speakers for free outta a newer accord my teacher got as a donation car =]
sound great compared to none
ordered the steering wheel and strut bar should be here by dgrr
Direct fire/ distributor swap helped my car so damn much it starts better than my daily now
made a cheap shift boot ( Crown royal trick )
and made a short shifter (It shifts amazing now... =])
now all i have to do is finish putting the interior pieces back in
new pics are up on my myspace under the rx7 and ej8 album

yea thanks Michael I appreciate it
I've been working my *** off to get it done
**** some days I didn't have Cam I'd be working from 3:30 till 11:00 or 12:00
And yea I still have to register
We have a room reserved but its not where the meets stayin or whatever
but Its just in case we can't get one where the rally is
I still have to put in the passenger seat a few interior pieces like pillar covers then the rear kick panels and stuff
The pioneer speakers I really turned them up last night and theyre just about loud enough to listen to while driving the car =]
were for sure going though the strut bars almost here the steering wheels not too far behind and I'm praying the tail lights will get ordered in time
I might try to drive it a few miles on the way then put it on the trailer then drive it a little so its not too far on the engine

k sorry to anyone i haven't replied to
I have been busy as hell lately
finishing senior projects last week
my sister had a wreck about 2 weeks ago (had to find her a new car hers was totaled)
my civic (DD) had the oil pan go out on me had to get a new one since well ^ her car wasn't at the house
Then testing for a job at BMW
and on top of that probably best of all
I Graduated last night from high school !!! =]
Now heres the updates
took the axles to my old boss to have the bearings put on
get there and find out first advanced sent me 2 pilot bearings or something instead of the bearings i need
and worst of all
unless someones already changed some parts in the rearend before in this car i found a little cylindrical magnet such as those used in the diff i think...
so now the bearings will be pressed on but before i can drive it heres the things to do next week (Goin to TN this weekend)
Remove and check the whole pumpkin (Diff and all)
Fix that or replace it
Remove all calipers and repaint them
Put new axles in
Put new brake hoses on and brakes on
Put new speedocable on
Rewire Stock Tach
and for fun
Make a plate to fit the new speakers for up front in (Ghetto idea but I found some great sounding computer speakers my friend was just about to throw away because he messed up a wire on the cord but I took them got them working and will be installing them up front)
Hopefully I can get all this done =]
