The v-8 conversion is $5000.
driveability is all in the tune. if anything a v8 would be better because of more low end. what makes you think the charger wasn't driveable?

$5000 for the swap?
you're getting taken for a ride. have a little ingenuity. you can do it for FAR less than that, unless of course you're like jimlab.

Why not just buy a 5.0 and keep your Rx-7 so you can beat it??? LOL... With all the money that you will need to make the conversion you can pretty much just overhaul, port an little, get a pair of msd's 6Al and a pair of blaster2 coils, RB exhaust pipe, get 2" tubing, holley FPR and Pump and buy RB intake and exhaust manifolds and a holley 600-650cfm carb... That is all you need to run fast on any 7...

didn't he say that he has a streetported 13b already in the car? if so....and it runs well, it would be gay to swap a pissed on

take that money, and turbo it and you will love it. start downloading videos of turbo'd rx7's and in no time you'll be hooked

i'll admit i loved my little 12a to death. it's on it's last leg and i'm beating on it more than i should. i will be doing a swap soon so i think i'm allowed to run the crap of my 12a.

oh yeah did i mention i'm putting in a 13bt? i would never put a piston engine in a 7. isn't there a section for piston powered 7's here?
