alright ... I just got back form the place ... as you can tell that was pretty quick ... but thats because we didn't do anything .. the guy booked me for the following tuesday and not this one so I guess i'll have to suffer a week. And I was all prepared for it ... changed my engine oil, changed my fuel filter, ran a little seafoam to clean things up too.

lol. Now I'm gonna have to wait another whole week to find out if I won? DAMMIT!!! This suspense is gonna give me ulcers!
Your setup sounds pretty similar to what I've got, except I won't have the street port until spring and I have a Sterling carb (you have a holley, right?). So yeah, I'm kinda interested to see how you do.
BTW, I'd kill to see someone do a before/after Seafoam treatment dyno run for comparison. On like, a motor that was babied for years and never redlined. I bet that would be impressive.

As far as your setup goes ... I believe that yours would score lower numbers from mine due to Header choice and mostly if you're using the stock intake or not (maybe sterling ported it for you?)

one cat so i think u can tell it has been babied,i would be willing to dyno my car
and then seafoam and dyno again if everyone chips in lol

For all the anxious people ... Car should be up and on the dyno @ 12:00PM EST. I've got my camera batterie's all charged up too so pics and hopefully video (hopefully this new cam has video on there too haven't looked at the specs yet). Depending when we finish I can probably post the numbers up around 5:00PM EST or it will have to wait after my 8:00PM class and once I get hope then I'll upload everything at once.
Depending on how many runs he allows me (hopefully he'll be cool about things) I would like to try a few different thing with the air intake and stuff.

Just thinking here .... I even think that I have the second gen igniter and board from GSL-SE addict with me so that we can see what happens with it connected. (I just have to remove the resistor out that restricts the max width) and finally see if there is actually any HP gains out of it
I'm pretty sure Kentetsu, GSL-SE addict, H4Inf, Dom and all them would be interested in hearing the result of all their hard work.

hey mate, looking forward to hearing the results.
We have spent a lot of time on the TT hehe- I blew my 2nd gen coilpack and have been driving around on stock coils for the last few weeks. It's definitely not as responsive. I don't think the TT mod will make a large difference in HP (we tested 2 cars and noted maybe ~2-3 hp gain), but you will notice driving on the street that it just feels better RPM climbs a lot faster. When I get a new coilpack I will do some rev speed testing as well
Good luck with it, looking forward to seeing pics and vids!! and the numbers
Cheers,
Paul.

HURRY UP!!!
You send me a PM, getting my hopes all up, and its more waiting WTF!
I got to run and get my wideband installed and other things today, so hopefully by the time I get back from work and running around town I can see some numbers.
I cant wait to really see how much the 2GCDFIS w/TT helps.

Alright people just got back to school now from the dyno place. Highest we could get it was 147.3RWHP and 124.2lb-ft. We gained about 15RWHP just with playing with the dizzy. Kinda surprised about that one. We noticed that RWHP was dropping at about 7K so we swapped over to the transistor trick from there. Good news bad news here, it was pulling the graph all the way oup to 7k+rpm so it is stronger at the top, but we lost RWHP and TQ over all we think its because we couldn't advance it enough even though I had it all the way out. And as i mentioned before HP is really dependent of timing as we saw it. I will get my photo's and video uploaded later on today. we will also have to flatten out the fuel curve too. I have to buy these special plates for my secondaries to tune it out properly. Max A/F was about 14.3 to a min of 12.2 at the top end. So its not that bad but need work to squeeze more power out. We were both shocked though of how straigh and smooth the power curve is.
147.3RWHP@6995rpm
124.2lb-ft@~5150rpm
Over all I'm pretty pleased with the results, quite a bit higher than I expected but nothing to complain about, and getting the carb tuned out more and a better ignition system i can see it hitting almost 160hp out of an 12a N/A.

147 not bad at all. thats about 110kw
seems like the calc should have been :
100hp stock
30% for street port
15% for zorst
15% for carb
15% power loss thru drivetrain
100x1.3x1.15x1.15x.85 = 147
