Air vents/pipes question

I turn my air on, and it blows. but to nowhere where I want it to be. Say for example, I put it on feet or something, it wont blow to feet. The only way I can get it to blow where I want it to blow is with the defrost. Does this mean that I have to take apart the dash and re-do all the plumbing to get the air to the vents?

You won't need to take the dash out. Most of what you will need to get to is behind the radio.

would I need to get radio remover wires? I am not sure what they are called, most cars now-a-days need special tools to remove the radio without damage...
