Air compressor!

Hey whats up guys , I bought an air compressor from a guy older than my rx for $50 and it works fine one thing, the swith is bad so it runs direct, and I have to manually turn it off when full it sucks and i would like to buy a switch , I cant order original part cause its to old and I was wondering if any of you smart people could help me. Can I buy a craftman switch and install it to fix my aliby. Its a good compressor and I would like it to fix , I hate have to stop my sanding on the rx cuase i got to turn off and on , thanx for intell if possible , its a 30gal compressor brand it DeVILBISS

you may want to consider determining WHY the switch is bad and repairing it. Since it's busticated anyhow there's little chance of you making it worse...

Go to an electrial supply house and get a generic pressure switch for an air compressor. Square D makes them for about $20. go to http://www.grainger.com
and click the "grainger item #" by the product search bar and put item # 1v628 to see an example.
