Accelerator pump weirdness
Hi all! I'm working on an 83 FB... rebuild the carb (a few times now, thank goodness for Sterling's notes in this forum) and I still seem to have a problem with the accelerator pump.
I have been able to determine by direct observation that gas is being squirted into the primaries while the engine is not running. There is a nice strong stream being squirted out.
Where I have the problem is when the engine is running! There is no fuel being delivered by the accelerator pump during operation. Turn off the engine and the AP will squirt again.
I've been searching for days... if anybody has an idea or two, let me see 'em!
