Ac removal Idea?

Alright so as I was ripping the dash and stuff today, I noticed how big our AC units are in our cars, and since I don't even use it, I was wouldering if anyone has actually mocked up something to replace it. I'm going to try to do something out of plexiglass tomorrow or saturday whenever I have time. As teh 2 ends are rectangular pieces, but different sizes I figured that if I just cut up each side by side, then glue all the edges . From there it would be bolted on at the ends.

If you've done something like that post up some pics ... I'll try to post up some pics tomorrow of what i'm talking about.

There is a AC delete ducting, since many of them were dealer installed, but I've only seen 1 for sale in the past couple of years.

Thats the A/c evaporator box. After you seal the 2 holes that go thru to the firewall where the A/c hoses would attach. The blower motor is closest to the right side of the car. The A/c evaporator box is to the left of that. That's all you do is remove the box and get a non-A/c ducting to go from the blower motor to the heater core box area.
