85 gsl-se coils

I'm sure someone can tell me if I can put after market coils (Accel super coils or like) on my 85 gsl-se .My car is all stock but I think the coils are getting weak

you can put msd blaster 3s or 2 or accel
they all work well. when i did mine, i saw no performance increase. only replace the Leading though. the trailing does nearly nothing.
