84 GSL-SE Fuel Cut Relay
Please help...
I can't locat my fuel cut relay in my 84 GSL-SE. I know what it is suppose to look like (yellowish cylinder with black plug), but looked everywhere under dash, right of the steering column, above the gas pedal, and nothing. Am I looking in the right place? Could it be located somewhere different than the posts? I'm about to tear out the entire dash to locate it. If anyone has a photo of the relay will help, or a shot of where it would be located under the dash. Thanks in advance guys....

Not sure exactly where it is myself, never looked for one. I suggest you look at the wiring manual. The wire colors and plug type may lead you to the relay before you decide to remove the dash.

A better question is; what are you trying to accomplish?
Is the fuel pump relay bad and the fuel pump won't come on? If that's the case, the previous post tells you it's attached to the frame which holds the ECU in place, IIRC.
If you're trying to install a fuel-cut, then simply wire in a switch on the dash to the fuel pump fuse in the fuseblock located on the driver's side footwell. This is a simple and safe method to get fuel cutoff for hot starts or flooding conditions.
