My 81' & 83' Fb's

And heres my 83' RX-7 because I haven't posted any for you guys to look at yet.

The car has the 148,000 on it, but the engine suposiby was rebuilt according to the guy i bought it off of and it only has around 60k since 140k. Its running great ever since I bought it and just last week I brought it back to life after sitting for a few months because I thought it was going to snow and be a shitty winter here in saskatchewan / alberta but it hasn't so why not drive her eh.

haha its mazda nation at my parents place, I got the 1992 mazda B2600i 4x4, Black 1981 RX-7, and finaly the white 1983 RX-7.

Oh SNAP... RUST in the wheel wells.

Yeah theres some big *** holes there. Trust me they werent fun when drivin down the road when it was raining, or on a gravel road, rocks flying in it was mad real. So i was sick and tired of them being there and being ugly as ****, one day I cut out the worst spots, and grinded down the other spots where it wasnt so bad and painted it with some rust paint, then after that i got some fiberglass and coverd them up, and to finish it off I got some roofing tar and pasted it all over on the outside to keep the moisture out.
Trust me i would have done it right, like with metal and forming it and welding it in place, but I fail to have a 240V plug in the garage for my lincoln stick welder, and don't have a small mig to do the job either, so I did what I could to fix it for now.

And my 1981 RX-7, picked it up for 500 bucks, has a new rad, tires, battery, all that was wrong with it is one of the ignitors was fried, so yeah I snagged some from the junkyard I was at and now she should run perfect.

I de-rat nested this engine and it ran fine, till it ran out of fuel, then I took the engine out for something to do. So yeah I have to wait till i geter back in the engine hole and see what happens again.

Anyways hope you guys like the pics.

nice 2 little cars you got there. THe exhaust on the white FB resembles my friends muffler on his porsche. SO are you gonna make the the white one the garage queen and black FB the DD? btw welcome to the forums.

Nice Rx7's. I'm currently in the process of repairing rust spots on mine, only I'm welding in new steel and cutting out the rust spots. I love the look of the stripped interior, haha. Mine looks the same (only grey).

"Erics85RX7" I think i might make the black one the carhole queen, because there isnt near the rust, the wheel wells are clean and solid, the doors would need to be changed out. The one is kind of wreaked at the point where it hinges. The front bumper would need to be switched or centered because it is off. All in all I want to make a really nice FB becuase ever since i got them i have been hooked. I plan on getting some fuel efficient vehicle within the next couple, three months. So that i can keep the miles down on the engines and as well as keep the wear and tear down. My B2600i has had it moreless, almost has 290,000kms on it eats gas as well as oil, and in sick of it so i have to get something else. Anyways thanks for the replys.

Hey again, I still think its awesome that your from Alberta. Anyways, it kinda sucks to see that you also have a problem with bin rust, but any car around here seems to. I think I have lost my current car due to rust/bodywork...

Anyways, it looks like you have a couple of sweet cars maintain them and if you are feeling rich try and restore one back to its original self!

"Dan_s_young" one day man ill get some mad cash and make a fund especially for them to get at least one of them in perfect condidtion in all aspects. By the way what part of alberta you live in. I'm in Lloydminster right now. One of my friends knows a guy here he has a GSL I believe, and its in really awsome shape, but the engine i think has had it, also its an automatic, sometimes i wonder what the hell they bother making autos for especially for a sports car, 5 speed all the way i say.

Im in Edmonton, haha yes I haven't had the chance to drive a Auto 7 but it seems to not be the best combination with the high reving rotary engine... There really fun cars, easy to work on and really rewarding, enjoy them!
