ATF does two things.

It helps make a better Seal of the Apex to the housing which restores compression. And some say it sparks off better.

Morganton is up and to the left of you.

lol yep thats morganton i live off I-40 exit 100......shelby is like 45 min away or less :p well i guess that depends on how fast you drive

ATF eats at the carbon build up on the rotors and apex seals it also will get in oily goo off the apex seals

My parents live just below Marion, anytime we go "out East" we take 64 to morganton to get onto I-40, and Jamestown is the only real good flee market unless we go up to smilies.

So far just headers and A BUNCH of rust.

I actually have a wide body kit sitting in my bedroom, but I don't have the time or money to put it on now. When I get that done, I'll take care of the rust as well. Also sitting in the betroom is a set of Epsilon mesh wheels. Not putting those on yet, cuz it looks funny when your wheels cost MUCH more than the car AND stick out past the fenders.

sky..use a couple inches of ATF in the straw.. or about the length of your pinky finger..one per hole..and roll the engine over 2-3 sec...that way the ATF "soaks" up the excess fuel.and you are not sittin there with an intake loaded with ATF.."cause that stuff smokes baby!..the ATF is used to lubricate the apex seals and bring up the "compression" in the housing..some frown on it ..I tried using regular motor oil when I deflooded my latest (86)..It also worked drawbacks are you can foul the plugs ..good thing ..you can hear the engine run!

I've only used ATF one time, and it worked. Would it be alright to use it occasionally or only when flooded? And when you, mistersty, say to crank the engine over 2-3 sec.. do you mean to simply turn the key and crank or crank by hand?

yes just turn the key over a fe times..............as for using atf every now you woudlint have to unless the car was flooded or ahs been sitting for bit...the atf is ruff on the rubber seals in the motor.........but it also helps to restore lost compression by eatting away braking up the carbon build up..if the motor has sat for a long time it will also get the oil goop left behind from dryed gas out of the motor/apex seals..............lol or you could do a water/alc. injection witch lowers the tepms lets you run more boost and also stem cleans the inside of the motor woooooot

Good question

Leading are the ones on the bottom - closest to the ground
Trailing are the ones on the top - closest to the hood

On my 12a, there is actually an "L" and a "T" stamped on the motor next to the spark plug holes.

well i guess every1 does it diff...i always just poor the atf down the carb lol 1 shot per barrel...than i put some junk plugs in the car un hook the coil wires and crank it over and let it sit all day night......take out the old plugs crank it over againto blow as much out as i can put new/good plugs in it. hook up coil wires and start it up.........this is what i do to carz that have sat for a bit that dont want to start..... lettin it sit over night helps alot.......

if its just flooded take plugs out crank over 20 sec or so wate like 5 min put plugs back in and most the time it will start with out atf remember to dry off the plugs also....or after you blow out the gas you can put soem atf or oil in there put plugs in unn hook coils and crank it over let it sit a min or 2 hook coils up start it up.......side note there will be LOTS of smoke using aft so dont worry you didint just blow up your car..............some ppl might not like my way but the truth is there are 100's of ways ppl do it every1 has there own way but they all do the same thing

Thank you People!

I had to let the battery charge up a little, but other than that, everything worked just the way it should!
