Yes rotarygod, everything you said is basically common sense. Do you have actual expirence in this porting job though? The person that replied to this thread and does have expirence with it says it's phenominal. I really don't feel like going into long detail about this subject and getting into an arguement. Velocity isn't going to be much of an issue because the porting will be done mostly at the end of the ports. I'm going to kind of "megaphone" ports. They'll still be seperate ports, but taper into one at the end of the air's journey.

I think i have an idea .Your planning to port the intake,on the engine side.And then leave the port on the manifold side fairly stock ?
Is that how your planning to make the megaphone effect ?
