5 speed

put in a new clutch 400 miles ago then all of a sudden no clutch pressure. Today i put a new slave and master clutch cylinder on felt like it had pressure bled it started the car bam no pressure what in the trans mission could cause this ??

Your clutch slave softline probably has a rip in it causing it to leak, that was the problem with mine....

nope its moving the trans fork strong but still wont go in gear i tryed leaving it in gear and starting it the haynes book said it might jar something loose but no luck what could be causing this just looking for ideas?

from what your descriing to me ( clutch disengages but you cant put it in gear) sounds to me like your pilot bearing is shot....

is it possible to change the pilot bearing without removing the flywheel???
sure would make it nice darn 54mm 350ftp

Yeah, you should be able to get it out and a new one in witout taking off teh flywheel.

You might find that the clutch disk is broken or one or more of the fingers on the pressure plate is bent. Happened to me. Pilot bearing faulure is pretty rare, usually those things last forever.

I took it down today and it has bent pressure plate fork fingers what caused this ? it is brand new 400 miles

remanufactured clutch disk turned into pices and got stuck inbetween clutch disk and pressure plate i feel like iam turnin into a pro at droppin the tranny

LoL, I've been dropping the tranny a lot. Pulled it 3 times in the past 2 weeks Every time done by myself. This last time it took 30mins total for the driveshaft, shifter, tranny, clutch, and flywheel I've found it's a lot faster to not use a jack to drop the tranny. I do support it with the jack when I remove the bolts, but then I get the jack out of there and pul it down with my hands. I put it back in the same way.

it was a carquest cheepy costs around $100 for kit
