FC rx7 Knuckle/hub/brakes/coilovers bolt straight into sa22c at the lower control arm, tie rod end, and strut tower (with a tiny elongation of the holes).

no idea about the rear end sorry.

For a little help with the offset, I'm running 16x7.5 +14 front and 16x8.5 +14 rear. The front has a few mm clearance between rim lip and strut, the rear I would say has plenty of room between the rim and the inner fender. The outsides sit damn near flush with the fender in the front, maybe a bit inside and the rear pokes just a bit, but doesn't look stupid. I'd almost say the rims I bought were made for this upgrade. I've run Rota RB's before the brake upgrade at 15x8 +20 and the front needed 15mm spacers and then stuck out past the fenders a bit. A tape measure and some cardboard will help you dial in the correct specs if your willing to spend the time working it out.

Had no idea about that, thanks Lots of good info in this thread.

Very helpful. Is this with coilovers or stock suspension? I'm not worried about flaring/pulling the fenders, just need to make sure I can clear the front suspension. Its currently stock but I'm saving for some coilovers. According to this I will probably be looking at a +14 offset as a starting base. Forgive my ignorance, but how do I go about measuring this with cardboard and a tape measure. Not litterally as that seems fairly straightforward but more specifically how does that measurement translate to offset?

It really is too bad RE-Speed went in its current direction. They had what looks like the easiest setup to make this question a no-brainer for an awesome price. I've never even seen a 5-lug swap from them in person and have been looking for one for a year now on the forum here. It's impossible.

doogy thanks for the pics. that actually helps me out quite a bit...time to get my spare strut assembly and have a look...seems very straight forward though. it looks like they trimmed the fc knuckle to remove unused portions and then drilled and tapped the 4 holes for mounting. ill take some pics as i figure out the install and post them here. what size and offset of rims are you running with your setup?

Lol actually I was planning on going widebody too...just trying to get this done first before I get rims and start widening my fenders :p

As such I could care less about clearing the fenders, but I have to be abk e to clear the suspension hence the offset question. We were talking about it earlier in this thread but was just curious as to what you are running

Do you have pics of this done? Sounds interesting, never thought of trying it.

Ok still haven't found time to get to the spindle swap yet, but next weekend is a 4 day weekend for me so I hope to make some progress on this....been busy with a power window conversion. Had some rims damned near fall in to my hands...17x8 +18. Hopefully I can get them to fit without too much hassle..if not I will sell them and find something that fits.

When you get the time it would be much appreciated! Will be looking for a set of struts to mod up for mine. Just sold mine to a friend on here to get his car finished.

Will probably build up the small bearing LSD rear axle and drill the axles to 5x114.3 while it's all apart and getting built, then mod the front when I swap that on
