3 rotors in a SA???

We may need a rebuild and was wondering if it's possible to put 3 rotors in a SA?

Yes with enough money you can put a jet engine in a SA.

Why 30k?

I could see ~10k max start to finish if all work is done by yourself and not a shop...

IIRC you can get the setup for ~4k and say another 1k in fab work but I really couldn't even see 10k unless you're doing crazy things to the engine.

4-5K will get you a 20B,but its condition is gonna be questionable and most people who are "willing and able" to tackle a 3 rotor conversion of any kind, will typically have it torn down and freshened up......that aint cheap.

With a bonestock 1st gen, even considering a 3 rotor is akin to wanting to be a marathon runner, before you can walk.
The work to install and get a 20B running in its simplest form(N/A) will be moderate, not impossible, but a fair bit of work.To have it running the factory twin turbos and ECU will be quite a chore, and your stuck with an auto trans. If you want a stick shift, you must run a standalone, which means more $$$ and more tuning. The 13BT turbo engine from the 2nd gen cars is much more availible and can provide all the thrust a little 1st gen can handle, for lots less money and headache.

N/A or turbo, the 20B is a beast of an engine.Youll be needing a much better tranny,a perfect stock or upgraded rearend,fresh/taught suspension to control the power, upgraded brakes to match the new power/weight ratio and wheels/tires that can put all that to the ground........thats where a lot of money is gonna go.

assuming this guy can do the work i guess you could quote 10k but from the question itself i can deduct that he might not do the work . so he would need a lot of custom work done. from what i seen in the shops and chepeast 20b conversion i seen have been done to 2nd gen and 3rd gens and its run in the 30k range. if you like give petite racing a call just so you can get a basic idea of the work needed just to even go N/A there is some custom frame work to even fit the engine in there. so rotor vs piston by all means if you can enlight us with how you can do this for 10k it would be much appreciated it.
