I have a 1980 RX7 that doesn't have storage bins. is it possible to mount 2nd generation storage bins in it?

Anyone try it?

I guess you could... might require a little bit of work though, i don't think they are the same size.

They're shaped differently but I think they are roughly the same size in perimeter. Personally, I'd just go get storage bins from an FB at a junkyard or something...
