where would you put the blaster coils?
2GDFIS means that you use a 2nd Gen coil for your leading ignition, there's nowhere to put the blasters there...
You could use a blaster 2 for your trailing, but gains there would be negligible.

I suppose you could use just the ignitor from the 2nd gen pack and use that to fire the pair of coils (coils in parallel). I have no idea how well it would work or if it would be any better than using just the 2nd gen coil. It might be worth a try if you had all of the parts. I don't see that there would be a big advantage over the 2nd gen coil, but you never know.
But you can't use just the TT to fire the coils. You need the ignitor in the mix (one that is ECU controlled type like the 2nd gen one). The TT just converts the signal to something that the 2nd gen coil can accept. The TT doesn't actually fire the coil (that's the ignitor's job).
