hey, that's about what I get, with mostly suburban driving.

once in a while i'll let loose and take her up to 7k though. I swear to god you can actually visibly see the gas guage go down above 5k rpm

lol, your mileage still sucks . I dunno, I retarded the timing w/an underdrive pulley and just ran 310 highway miles and still had over 1/8 tank left when I gassed up. Weird, huh.

Low gas milage huh?

You'd be amazed at how a $3 gas filter will help. It wont give you an extra hundred miles, but you will notice the change.

With mechanical secondaries, I get about 250 per tank (12.5 gallon) on the highway if I keep my foot out of the pedal. About 200 in the city. Without the mechanical sec. I was getting about 325 per tank highway and a little less city. As Trochoid said, more info would help try to solve your problem. The setup you have would tell a lot.

I get about 175 miles out of 15 gallons.Thats with EFI,but a 13B and turbo.
Highway aint bad at around 20,but around town it dips to 10-12.......
I cant imagine how bad it would get if I neglected tuneups and tire pressure checks.......

i've been getting anywhere from 217 to 250 miles per tankful thats with a streetpoted engine amd the casual rev it all up. Thats all basically city driving i haven't been much on the highway so i can't tell you what its at there. i should also mention this is using stock pump and stock carb ... i'll see how things go when i get my holley in and that mallory pump that i want.

I love boost.

Haven't ran the FB through a full tank yet, sadly enough.

What size is the FB tank anyway? Is it different between SE and non-SE models? I honestly have no idea the size of the tank in my FB. =/

Stock '1984 GS 12A 5-spd. 14.6 gallon tank.

I see 290-300 all highway, driving at 80mph.

I see 220-240 all city, stop light to stop light, aggravation to frustration.

I normally see 260-280 mixed suburban driving.

Mike

My 83GS got 22-24 mpg when new, for several years, but lately it's only 15 mpg, though the engine runs as good as ever. Maybe they changed the fuel.
