First post ever here, so hi to all. I've got a first gen that I just picked up a few months ago. It's got the stock Nikki and it's pretty decent. A friend of mine has a Weber 45mm DCOE that we want to put in there with an aluminum intake manifold, but we can see where there might be some difficulties, i.e. choke and throttle cables will need to be changed, etc. Anyone here ever do this conversion, and if so can you give me any tips?

The conversion is pretty simple. If you've ever replaced a carb on any other car it's pretty simple.
