1st gen forum
ok ive noticed that the first gen forum has the least number of posts 3rd is second and 2nd has the most..why is that is it becasue people dont realize the beauty of an older car so they try to get the newest there is...?but cant quite afford the 3rd gen so they go get a 2nd gen?? or is it just that the best gen (1st) is more rare that we have the least posts due to the car being older and less of them road? if its the newer is better case we should go crazy posting to catch up...i dunno iwas really bored and saw that so i figured what the hell :P

I think its because...
1) 1st Gens are a lot easier to deal with than the 2nd/3rd Gens, thus requiring less threads about "How to..."
2) There are less items being produced to fit the 1st Gen, so there is less talk about "Are they better than..."

i'll agree with the above post about simplicity. the FB's are a lot eaiser to work on and everything is just so much more simplified. i own an FC and its a pretty simple car to work on once you understand it and how everything works. until then, working on it can be an exercise in frustration. as much as i love my 88 10AE, i personally favor the first gens over the second.
