1st Gen Bumper Swap

dumb question: how easy is it to replace the wraparound urethane bumper on an 83 GSL with the 79 to get that 79 rx-7 look?

change fenders, lower valnece, bumper and shocks for the bumper, and its a bolt in

Still aint gonna help you with the back thats different, well I guess you could do a older bumper on one, but never heard of anyone going back in years ?

Your saying you wanna add the bumper from a 79? Hmmmm... I just got rid of my bumpers to ad the later model bumpers. I didn't like the extra weight of the SA bumpers

fenders are identical... true there is a lil more weight... but the later model wraparounds dont quite blend into the body when the sidebumps are removed... how difficult was the swap?

I think that was already said, if you look at the bottom of the fenders where the valnce attaches, its a dead giveaway.
