1st Gen Back Seat

For fun I've been trying to get the back seats shipped out to me from an Australian or perhaps Japanese Rx7 model.

Anyone have any leads for this? I wouldn't mind putting a little project together to get a few of these shipped to the US for anyone wanting to modify their car this way.

Thanks Gang!

On occasion 1 will turn up for sale in the parts forum. Sometimes you will see them on ebay.
Post a WTB in the parts forum and see what happens.

Just saw a set on craigslist here in Oregon. You might try there. I think it was pretty close to you too.

I live in Sheridan, near McMinville and about 30 minutes from Salem.

I'm surprised they sound 'easy' to acquire! I will continue my search and try Craiglists as well. Keep me posted! and THANKS.

You can get them from the RX-7 used parts vendors in any country outside North America, but the price is not cheap. They are a very simple Design. If you buy one, you can manufacture copies for about a third of the cost or less.

I will keep my storage bins, they are handy for tools, gloves, booze, pistol, etc.

Can you post a pic of what an FB with rear seats look like. I am in the process or possibly chaging my entire interior and would love to see the look. I like the storage bins but mine are falling apart, so project siete (7) is coming up pretty soon.

I use mine to store human body parts. A lot easier than tying the whole body on the fenders.

I don't see the backseat being useful for anything but a baby seat. No leg room.

Actually the leg room for me was ok. Head room was the problem.
