What age are you going to be?
Just out of curiosity.

I was going to do it, and I actually just sold the 20B that was going in my 85 GS. The motor is the least of your costs. Don't forget, rear end, trany, brakes, cooling, exhaust, motor mounts, ignition, computer etc. going from 100 or 130 hp to over 300 requires extensive modifications. But if I ever have the money I will do it. I heard that you can't beat the sound of a 3 rotor. The stock 20B TT from a cosmo will produce 300hp on it's own, mild upgrades can take it to 450 easily.
In short have at least $10,000 -$15000 canadian if you plan on doing all of the work yourself. If you have a shop do the work you could double or triple that amount.

2000lb with a 3-rotor? Good luck trying!
Rotaries are much heavier than they appear. A 3-rotor conversion weighs much more than a boinger conversion (which is roughly the same weight as stock).

200 lbs! Holy crap! But I'm sure it's easy to over come that when it's logical to assume that you can get over 600hp from it...Senior Hitman?? 650hp...wants 800?!?!?!

If I'm going to have an anchor up there, I'd at least like it to have real guts, ie., TORQUE...plus that engine would ingest a 250 shot of nitrous all day long, so that puts the total at 792 HP on a daily driver motor that idles at 900 RPM. A rotary with 4 rotors won't do that...

Based on testing with my car, Peter Farrell has stated that 1000 hp is a realistic goal for a 20B (assumes engine has been modified like the 13B-rew in Peter's drag car, including a 100 shot of nitrous).

A simpler, though heavier, route is to buy my car. See www.cris.com/~Asam/20B.html

Your 20B FC 'Vert gets me going.
I love that you took the HEAVY Vert, and put real power down on it. I also live the fact that you took the "ho-hum" FC lines and put a Mariah kit on her.
I would LOVE to buy your car. But my wife would kill me.
One Cosmo Project at at time.
Maybe in the future I'll buy yours or do one on my own. *sigh*.

And you have to figure, it's still turbocharged. (Yuck)
I think his Pontiac analogy was meant as an extreme example.... Pontiacs are some ungodly-heavy engines! Now, on the other hand, a SBF would fit nicely and doesn't have the weight penalty of a 20B. And if you wanted, there's plenty of room for a pair of turbos.
