1984GSL Cruise Control

I re-installed my Cruise Control yesterday and it worked for about 5 seconds?
A little history first.
Last year I installed a New Pineapple Racing BIG Streetported 12A with alot of goodies done to it.
I installed RB Strretport Holley, RB Complete Exhaust, all aftermarket guages. Crap the list is to long.
Rat's Nest and A/C Removed.
The Cruise Control worked perfectly before I made all the mods.
What am I missing????
Yes there is Power!
Yes there is Vacum i.e. Tee'd off the Intake Manifold, (Done according to RB instructions).
I have owned 6 of these SpeedDemons so I'm used to there Gremlins!
But this one has me stumped.
I did the search and have eliminated them all.
Help

On my se the cruise would not set or drop 5mph after it would engage. I found a plastic tee (vac hose to servo) that had a hole in it. Replaced it and been working fine ever since. It could be that none of your previous mods effected the operation. If it cuts off after 5 mins like you turned it off manually, I'd check cut-off switch adjustments on your brake and clutch pedal. And you may want to see if you can clean the contacts on the on-off switch in the dash.
Keep us posted..

Thanks for the Info RX7Rox;
I've checked all the switches that you sugested with a Voltmeter and did the Ohm check at the Actuator Solenoid according to the Factory Manual all are working within spec's.
I had a Spare working Control Unit so I tried that change-out also and still no Cruise???
Not that I really need it. But as I stated I do alot of long drives and it sure would be nice to give the old leg a break once in awhile.
I went through all 10 pges of the search and nothing works.

P.S. If I find out what the problem was I promise to post it.

*scratching head*
Does it work 5 minutes at a time? Or it worked 5 minutes once and that was it? Since every test you've done checks ok, would it be worth while to try to connect a vacuum gauge at the source for your cruise and see what happens going down the road? There is some componet (actuator/inhibitor) that does not allow you set the cruise below 25mph...maybe that part is defective and fooled in thinking you're going less than 25mph when you're not???

I have the Vacuum Hose tee'd off with the Brake Assist Vacuum Line. This is how the RB Holley setup is supposed to be.
All the hoses are and tee are 1 week old and I did a Vacuum check 1st thinking there was not enough, but goo to go there.
When the cruise worked for a couple of minutes I was doing 60mph.
I've tried 50-60-70 and nothing works. I even checked the Cluth & Brake Swithes and they also are working to Spec's.
The Actuator is Brand New, not a Junkyard Special.
I have Scratched my Head so much that it's bleeding by now.
I've owned 6 of these Babes (none stock after I get done with them).
But am at a lost on this GREMLIN.

Anyhow I do appreciate any sugestions that I have gotten over the years on this Board. I can usually fix them cause of this help.

Thanks RX7Rox for your input.

There's Juice throughout the System, so that's not the problem.
Just did a 610 round trip sales call in a day & a half.
When I got home @ 2am last night I could barely get out of the car and walk to the door.
I gota get this thing fingered out!!!!
I like driving my Durango
But I (LOVE) Driving the XXXX
Thanks
