it depends on what great condition means, but i would say, conservatively 10-12k, https://bringatrailer.com/mazda/rx-7-fb/

Probably a good starting point. Look at the past auctions on BaT, comparing the condition of those cars to the one in question. Low miles and originality equals higher value.

I bought the car from a friend in 1986. It's been garage kept. It had 15000 miles when I bought it . It now has mileage in the mid 40's. Have to check to get exact mileage. I will update with more info.

40K miles on a 36 yr old car is way below avg. Has it sat for awhile? Ideally it has saw some intermittent use. Vehicles that sit for a prolonged time, can develop issues from non-use. Gas goes bad gumming up the fuel system, rubber bits and seals dry out. Cosmetically, from the single pic, your car looks extremely nice. If the mechanical condition of the car is also in good shape, it would strengthen it's value.

if ur looking to get maximum dollar value i suggest posting it up on BaT as already mentioned. post it in the classifieds here with an asking price and see what happens. but at the end of the day it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

It hasn't been driven every day, but my husband has been keeping up with maintenance. It's fun to drive w/ manual transmission.

Are you selling it? Where's the car located?

Thinking about it. Trying to find out it's worth, to see if it's even worth selling or keeping. It's in Louisiana.

if u no longer care to own it, sell it. it's worth selling. put a price on it and take offers. do research to see what other examples r selling for and price it based on that.
