The turn signal relay isn't a common one like most older american cars. I'm guessing you'll need to add some load resistors to stop hyper
flashing.

^ Correct - it's part of a larger control module. Unless you want to do some fairly major rewiring you will have to take the same approach as newer cars with a non-editable BCM's and use resistors
