Talking 18's on a 1st gen

Check my new shoes, I was sponsored a set of ICW Racing Wheels, 17x7 front 18x7.5 rear +37 offset, Toyo Proxes T1R, 215/40ZR17 225/35ZR18. They feel great and stick like glue. Everyone that has seen it so far has really liked them.

Anyone know of who has slotted rotors. I know power slot has them and some place called trinet has cross drilled but I don't know who they are.

Thats chewy chocolaty good never thought it would look that, nice. Must be the body kit making it look lowered.

I never thought big rims would look good on the FB, but thanks to you...you have made me a believer.

That reminds me of a song...****.

The car rides at stock heighth. I did lower it once and didn't like it. It is lowered in the front by virtue of the staggered stance by the wheels.

I like the rims, I just don't like the size. There just too big. Mabey a set of those in an even 16" all around would look great. But the staggered sizes really doesn't look too good, IMO.

thats hot!! i had 18s and 19s for a few months. I liked the way they looked but i didnt really like the ride too much. It rubbed a lot when i cornered hard... and if you have an RX7 you MUST MUST MUST take hard corners!!

no rubbing. The wheel wells are full and the wheels tuck perfectly.

I prefer 16" - past that and unsprung weight goes up while cornering/steering over bumps goes down.

Looks nice though.

I had 16's and they did great. I have the tires a little oversized but the car handled good. The new wheels and tires are 3 pounds lighter each than the ones I took off. The tires are actually a little smaller as well but the handling was still improved. I think because of the Toyo Proxes T1R's, Toyo makes a fantastic tire.
