Quick question!! did you need spacers for those rims and how is the clearance do they bottem out alot on the fenders??? thanks those look GREAT!!!!!!

The problem is whether you are going for looks, ride or performance. Also critical is the road condition.
I have tried everything from 14 to 17 inch. With a lowered suspension you need stiff springs, go 17 and there is absolutely no give. Even driving over an ant gives you a noticeable thump. Driving up to 750 miles one way on rural roads I went back to 14 inch 60s for a fast comfortable ride, but for show and flat roads 16 inch look best.
Anything bigger looks out of character for an early eighties car; like a grandmother in a blonde wig.

I agree,even 17's can look too big if you get the wrong wheel or offset.I run 17"s because of my big brakes and widebody,but my old 15" Centerlines looked just right on a mostly stock body.....
