Question 13btt im my 1st gen??

im doing the T11 swap in my 1 gen, i have motor yet, but i got offered a 13b tt out of a cosmo (same engine out of a fd bat??) i would like to know if a s4 turbo gearbox can handle the 13btt??, im going to port the engine too. Hmmm, I don't know if I'd ask Mikey-P, he seems to think that a V-8 is a better choice (a la his little quote).

The Cosmo engine is the 13B-RE, the FD engine is the 13B-REW. (Just as a heads-up - there's no such thing as a "13btt")

No they are not the same engine. The Cosmo engine has bigger ports and smaller turbos...

Yeah true, but what I dont get is, since the W stands for twin, why the 13b-RE dont have a W on it. Since it is a twin turbo Rotary.. Yeah I tossed those little puny twins they were SMALL.

W means "double" as in double turbo... apparently it's easier for the Japanese tongue to try to say W instead of double.

I don't get it either. All I know is the Cosmo engine is the one to have... better ports AND the intake manifold looks better
