I hear ya, though. A 1.7l 914 isn't anything to go drag racing in. I think they had like 80hp. Unless it was autocrossing or a really tight track, I can definitely see how an SA would turn a quicker lap time. My stock rx-7 fb has way more acceleration than my 914 1.8. On ice, you would want a 914. Does anyone know if on ice, when you brake, do you go faster? It sure seems that way. |

I can actually recall talking to E prod. drivers who intentionally babied their BP's or PP's (i cant remember which) around certain corners at Akron just so they didnt get DQ'd haha. :) |
