It'd be a challenge.
If I wanted easy, I'd make my 200sx stupidly fast.
I understand RX-7's are VERY different, but I'm up the the challenge.
dude,
chill! i wasn't talking to you in that post when i said was a skeptic, i was responding to the gentleman that said he did with a streetport and basic bolt-ons and proceeded to drive EVERYDAY at those RPM for 100+K miles.

with all due respect, i do have my doubts about you, but i just wanted to clarify my last post. you need to get a firmer grasp on all of this and you seemed to have calmed down and decided to listen to reason for the most part. that's a step in the right direction.

i'll be one of the first to help you as much as i can if you end up being serious about it. i want you to prove me wrong. it's just that i don't get the feeling that you really know what kind of beast you're trying to build and unleash in a car you stated frankly that you have no experience with - but again, to your credit, you seem to be willing to listen and learn now.

as for your exhaust question, RB would be my first recommendation, but from what i understand, shipping to Canada is painful to the pocket, so if you MUST go custom, then i say keep it at 2.25". on stock ports, even with a Holley, i doubt you actually NEED larger.

ok, sounds good. I'll go 2.25". A header will have to wait for now.
I don't know what kind of holley to get. A guy on the island said to get a holley double pumper,.......but then, somebody in the tech forum area said it won't work, and that I'd need to use a small street avenger holley. Too many kinds of Holley's.

Thats why you have to stop being lazy and start reading old threads about this subject.

Yes,
Lots of work, completely off subject, please search or start another thread......in which case youll probably be told to search again.

If you have to ask IF it can be done, then you probably arent ready to even attempt the swap yourself. Not trying to be a dick here, just being honest.

Any carb will work on a rotary just like a piston engine. Holley's are probably the most popular american carbs used. Webers are said to be the best, and then there are also dellorto, mikuni, solex, and many other sidedraft carbs. I'm personally using a 600cfm Edelbrock performer. I've heard of mabey 1 or 2 using demon carbs.
