13B Air Adjust Screw and Variable resistor
Does anyone know which way to turn the Air Adjust screw to put more air in the system? Would the higher in it’s seat allow more air in the system? Or would you crank it down?
Then on the Variable resistor, which direction is rich and which would be lean? The GSL-SE Idle article states there is a black fitting with R—L printed on it, either I’m looking at the wrong part , or the sticker is gone.
Trying to get the POS racer to pass emissions, figure I have miss adjust the above! In advance I appreciate your help!

air adjust screw
POS! Hello
Anyways, you need to unscrew (counterclockwise) the air adjust screw to allow more air in, which should also increase your idle speed. Also, turning the variable resistor to the right is rich and to the left is lean. Get it? Right = Rich, Left = Lean.
Some smart folks at Mazda. Well, hope that helps. Good luck.

The POS Racer was defiantly living up to her name this weekend!
Pittdp, I greatly appreciate your offer! Luckily this time it was just a hose, which I still need to replace.
Once I get her back in running form, may need your help to get her through inspection, I just know she can pass, figure it’s just a matter of getting her adjusted in correctly for the emissions test!

Do you guys think that adjusting both settings for more air, and less gas would help in getting it through inspection based on my test results?
Thanks Again,
